Amaranth wood has a variety of colors ranging from light purple that changes over time to dark purplish brown. The texture is medium-fine with a straight grain, sometimes wavy or interlocked.
Uses
Properties
Used for interior decoration, luxury furniture, fine flooring, decorative coatings, cabinetry, and artistic craftsmanship.
Its average density after seasoning is 860 kg/m3. Amaranth is very hard and resistant, difficult to work with due to its hardness, which translates directly into excellent stability and strength.
