Il legno di ciliegio ha un colore rosso-marrone intenso con venature sottili, tessitura fine e fibratura dritta.
Usi
Proprietà
Utilizzato per mobili per interno, pavimenti, interni per barche, strumenti musicali.
La densità media dopo stagionatura è di 580-610 kg/m3. Il ciliegio è duro e resistente a urti e sollecitazioni e facile da lavorare con i comuni mezzi di lavoro con un’ottima attitudine alla finitura.
